Become a Founding Member of the Modern Commons Party of Canada

The Modern Commons Party is a new federal political movement rooted in balance — combining social progress with practical economic ideas. We’re building a Canada where housing is a human right, healthcare is universal and accessible, and reconciliation is more than a buzzword.

But before we can appear on your ballot, we need your help.

Elections Canada requires 250 verified members to officially register the Modern Commons Party. That’s where you come in.

Membership is free as we build our national movement.

    • Shape the future. Your membership helps launch a party committed to realistic, compassionate, and community-first policies.

    • Stand for something better. We're here to break through partisan gridlock and build solutions that actually work.

    • Make your voice heard. Members will help guide our priorities, policies, and candidates.

  • To be eligible, you must:

    • Be a Canadian citizen

    • Be at least 14 years old

    • Be a member of only one federal political party

    • Support the principles of the Modern Commons Party

    You do not need to donate, attend events, or commit beyond signing the official form — though we'd love for you to stay involved.

    You must not hold membership in another federal political party while a member of Modern Commons.
